Kia ora & hello.

Who are we?

Network for Learning (N4L) is a Crown-owned technology company that provides faster, safer internet for schools & kura across Aotearoa, and our aim is to support all ākonga to learn safely online. We’re one of the largest networks of our kind in the country, accounting for nearly 25% of New Zealand’s daytime business internet traffic.

Our Safe & Secure Internet is fully funded for all state and state-integrated schools and kura.

More than 2,470 schools and kura in Aotearoa are connected to our Managed Network.

Our Helpdesk and School Relationship Managers provide hands-on support to schools, kura and their IT providers to ensure smarter, safer internet for learning.

What do we do?

We deliver smarter, simpler digital technologies so schools and kura can focus on teaching and learning.

We connect schools and kura to faster, safer internet for learning.

We protect ākonga from the worst of the web so they can confidently learn safely online.

Our dedicated Customer Support team and School Relationship Managers support schools and kura every step of the way.

Upgrading School Wi-Fi

To give ākonga a safer, more seamless Wi-Fi experience throughout the school or kura, we’ve extended the Managed Network into classrooms by replacing network equipment as part of the Ministry of Education’s Te Mana Tūhono programme.
